This is a long-term project that the artist has been performing for years. We deal here with the “traces” of his presence in form of imprints of his body or actions that become signs of his (former) presence. This way the artist provokes a question how a site with no art meaning becomes a work of art? Is the presence of a person and/or artist enough to cause this transformation? This topic is also related to the “presence in absence” paradox, which is one of the crucial concepts the artist investigates in his artistic as well as theoretical work.
